Cowtown Rodeo's Review
For one of the most entertaining attractions, May to September, in
southern New Jersey look to Grant Harris and his family’s famous
Saturday night Rodeo at Cowtown – the longest running rodeo in the
country. It’s almost impossible to put into words the excitement and
energy that comes from the rodeo. From the numerous events such as team
penning, roping, riding and racing to the roars and cheers of the crowd,
friendly vendors and courteous staff. Cowtown provides strong family
entertainment and lasting memories. With any good family festival comes
good food and we recommend “Katie’s Chuck Wagon Chili,” which has a
great taste and is gas forgiving. Add to it some nachos and cheese and
you’re doing even better. Even though the rodeo takes place in the
evening, come early to experience the unparalleled Flea Market, which is
open Tuesdays and Saturdays year around.
