SLIDE SHOW COMING SOON
The USS Constellation Museum  Web site
The USS Constellation Museum offers hands-on activities and tours of the sloop-of-war USS Constellation, the last all sail wooden war ship built by the Navy. The ship represents the epitome of sailing technology before the Navy made the transition from sail to steam. Visitors will learn about the history of the ship from her pre-Civil War service to the massive restoration project in 1996. The ship is exhibited today much as she was when she was first launched. Tours and demonstrations to bring the ship’s history to life are given on the hour, such as the live firing of the ship's cannon and the Powder Monkey Tour for kids. To add a memorable experience to your next visit to Baltimore's Inner Harbor, the USS Constellation Museum is a must-see stop.
